Aquatic Facilities
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool at the Recreation Activity Center offers the university community the opportunity to swim, dive or simply relax.
Amenities Include:
- 25 yards by 25 meters lap pool
- Low (1 meter) and high (3 meter) diving boards
- Whirlpool with seating for 25
- Dry Sauna
- Chair lift available
Three lanes are reserved for open swim at all times other than during Georgia Southern swim meets. Visit the athletics website for a complete schedule of swim and dive meets.
Operating Hours: Indoor Pool opens when the building opens and closes one hour earlier than the RAC, with the exception of Saturdays in the summer.
Outdoor Pool
The Outdoor Pool at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC) is a seasonal leisure pool.
Amenities Include:
- Leisure Pool
- Whirlpool (103° F)
- Swirling Vortex
- Two in-pool basketball goals
- Volleyball net
- Tables, chairs and lounge chairs
The outdoor pool is also available for rentals, more information can be found on the facility reservations page.
Outdoor Pool Operating Hours (April 13 – September 17, 2023):
