RAC CLOSURE

Based on the National Hurricane Center’s latest projection for Hurricane Irma, the Georgia Southern University campus will be closed Friday, Sept. 8 through Tuesday, Sept. 12. As a result, the Recreation Activity Center (RAC), Georgia Southern Golf Course and Shooting Sports Education Center (SSEC) will also be closed Friday, Sept. 8 through Tuesday, Sept. 12. We will attempt to re-open the RAC and SSEC at 8:00 am on Tuesday, Sept. 13, pending the re-opening of campus. The Golf Course will re-open as quickly as they can pending a thorough evaluation of the condition of the course.
The following CRI events have been canceled: Firearms Date Night, Explore Archery, Workout With Your Service Men and Women, Basic Climbing Clinic, GATA Archery League, Free Swim Preview, Eagle Luau, and Adventure Movie Series.
