Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What if I do not have any clubs or golf shoes?
No worries! We will have equipment for you and athletic shoes are just fine.

Should I just go buy some clubs now?
Wait and get professional advice. We want you to get the best price for equipment that fits you. We meet or beat the prices of discount stores many times. Just give us a chance to show you.

I used to play a long time ago. Is this for me?
Yes definitely, beginners as well as you having some experience are welcome.

I have never played the game of golf and will just get embarrassed. Should I come?
We all started out from somewhere. Come for some fun and meet some new friends. This game is a game you can enjoy for a lifetime. Men, Women, Seniors, Couples looking for something to spend more time together, Women Business Professionals, Women working at home and many more can enjoy this game.

Can I bring a friend?
Sure what a great idea. Sign up together today or share this website with them!

Is there a Dress Code?
We prefer pants, shorts or skirts. Golf Shirts, Mock Shirts or Blouses are fine. Golf Shoes, Athletic shoes and/or similar closed-toe shoes are required.

What if I cannot make one session?
We cannot offer any separate makeup sessions, but please see one of our PGA Professionals and they can see you individually for a private lesson.

Is there a deadline to register?
We have limited space in this program so when it fills up we will have to close registrations. Deadline is usually one week before the first Saturday Session.

What if the session is full?
Do not wait to register as the limit is 8 individuals in each session. If you miss out, sign up for the next one as we will offer 4 of these 5-week sessions this year. Please e-mail us to let us know you are interested in future sessions.

What will we be doing?
We will work on all areas of golf:

  • Lesson One Putting
  • Lesson Two Chipping and Short Game
  • Lesson Three Irons and Full Swing
  • Lesson Four Driving and Full Swing
  • Lesson Five Playing a Hole

Most sessions will include a segment on the course as well as the practice facilities. This is different than anything you have done before.

What if I do not even know all the golf terms?
Our first session will cover what to do when arriving at the golf course.

What does the $149.00 fee cover?
Instruction, Range Balls, Free Use of Equipment, and most of all some FUN!

What if I have to cancel?
You will get a full refund if canceled by the registration deadline one week ahead. Any cancellations after that will get no refund as we likely will not be able to find a replacement on such a short notice. Your fee can be applied towards a future session as available.

What if I get sick or injured?
Please see the Program Coordinator to work out a solution.

What if I do not want to compete but just play for fun?
These sessions are friendly, fun, and made for you. Golf is a game you can enjoy for a lifetime.

What if the weather prevents us from having a session?
Every effort will be taken to have the session outdoors or in case of inclement weather indoors. Re-scheduling may be difficult but can be an option.
