Boating Clinics

Southern Adventures clinics are designed to help students learn outdoor skills.  All clinics, excluding Wilderness and Remote First Aid, are free to RAC members.  Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling Southern Adventures or stopping by our office.

Canoe Clinic

Learn basic canoe paddling and rescue techniques.  Sign up on the interest list at Southern Adventures as classes are scheduled according to demand.  There are no prerequisites for this clinic.

Kayak – Paddling 101

Build solid foundational paddling strokes and learn rescue techniques. Sign up on the interest list at Southern Adventures as classes are scheduled according to demand.  There are no prerequisites for this clinic.

Kayak – Roll Session

Sign up in Southern Adventures.  Sign up on the interest list at Southern Adventures as classes are scheduled according to demand.  You must have taken a Kayak 101 clinic.
