This course is intended to be an introductory course for first-time shooters and those interested in learning how to handle a firearm safely including hands on range time with the instructor.
This course will help improve your pistol shooting skills with classroom instruction and live fire drills. You will learn how to shoot more accurately and consistently, perform reloads, draw from the holster, and clear stoppages.

The SSEC offers youth the opportunity to master safe handgun handling and the basics of marksmanship which will aid in their ability to use a handgun properly and effectively. While on the range we maintain a 1:2 instructor to student ratio.

Eagle Eye Challenge
Eagle Eye Challenge is designed to test your skills in a timed, moving and shooting competition. The courses of fire will challenge you mentally and physically. Shooters will engage targets from behind cover or from a seated position, while also having to perform magazine changes.
This is not your typical date night. The night consist of: education, safe firearms handling, marksmanship and shooting time on the range! You will also learn the skill necessary to teach each other when you are out on the range in the future.
Women’s Firearms Fundamentals
The 3.5h course is designed for women who want to learn how to handle and shoot a firearm safely. Safe shooting and handling practices are paramount for any women who is considering owning and or operating a firearm. With half the time on the range learning and shooting, range time includes shooting with a variety of handguns. No previous knowledge required.
Bowling Pin Competition
Who needs a bowling ball to knock over some pins? Shooters of all levels and experience are welcome to come enjoy a night of fun competition shooting at bowling pins on our ranges in head to head competition. Open to the public.
We will teach you the basics of how to clean, service, and maintain your firearm to keep it in good working order. You will also receive a cleaning kit that includes all the necessary tools you will need to take care of your firearm.

NRA Basic Pistol Class
