Cap and gown pick up at RAC
CRI proudly congratulates you on your success as a Georgia Southern University student!
When picking up your cap and gown, please remember the RAC is still open. To help us get you in as quickly as possible while minimizing the impact on our participants, keep in mind the following:
- You must park in a designated parking space.
- Vehicles may not idle along the curb or in the roundabout.
- Do not block University buses, they are taking students to final exams.
- Follow the stanchions and do not block entrances, remember the RAC is open.
- Enjoy your special day, you’ve earned it!
Undergraduate Students
Commencement attire may be picked up at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC) on Thursday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
If a reservation for attire was not made, please pick up on Friday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in order to be fitted appropriately. Please be sure that attire is correct when picked up since little time will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for adjustments on Saturday, May 10, the morning of commencement.
You may keep your attire – no return required.
Graduate Students
Graduation caps and gowns may be picked up at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC), starting on Thursday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please note: on Friday, May 9 the location is moved to held at Hanner Fieldhouse Room 2201 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Candidates who did not order attire should pick up on Thursday. Adjustments may be made on Friday, May 9, at Hanner Fieldhouse Room 2201, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You may keep your attire – no return required.
