Club Sports Fair
Looking for your niche on campus? Club Sports could be perfect for you! Come out to Campus Recreation and Intramurals’ (CRI) Club Sports Fair on Monday, August 25 at 6 p.m. in the Recreation Activity Center (RAC).
Get an inside look at what Club Sports has to offer. This is an opportunity to meet captains, get try-out information and check out the teams’ past accomplishments.
Since there are 26 Club Sports offered, there is something for everyone. From archery and aikido to lacrosse and wrestling.
Club Sports are for students who are interested in a long-term playing period, in comparison to a shorter intramural season. Teams typically compete throughout both fall and spring semesters, allowing players more time with their teams and sport of choice.
Club Sports are not only for the elite. Many Club Sport organizations are open to all who share an interest in the same activity.
Participating in Club Sports provides students the opportunity to travel and compete against other colleges and universities. Georgia Southern club teams frequently travel around the Southeast to compete against teams from other schools.
All Club Sports teams are student operated and provide excellent leadership experience to those who are interested in organizing and running a team.
