Do you want an on-campus job that pays you to be around sports and have fun? Apply to be a Georgia Southern Intramural Sports Official! Prior experience is not required. We will teach you everything you need to know.
Attendance at all training sessions is required.

Wednesday, January 23

Women’s Firearms Fundamentals
6 – 9:30pm
Shooting Sports Education Center
This course is designed for women who want to learn how to handle and shoot a firearm safely. Safe shooting and handling practices are paramount for any woman who is considering owning and/or operating a firearm. Participants will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy of the different handgun systems, benefits and drawbacks specific to each of the platforms and their operation. In addition, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of shooting.

Basic Climbing Clinic
7 – 10pm
RAC Climbing Wall
The Basic Climbing Clinic will teach you the basics of rock climbing and how to top rope belay.
The Rock Climbing Clinic Series consists of free climbing programs geared to help prepare you for leading safe, ethical, and enjoyable rock climbing trips.

Women & Weights
8:30 – 9:30pm
Body Conditioning Room
Join us each week as we discuss the benefits of resistance training and equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to reach your goals and exceed your own expectations! Find your place at Women & Weights!
Each session is led by two nationally certified Personal Trainers that will provide exercise instruction and motivation. Any Georgia Southern female student or Faculty/Staff that is a member of the RAC is eligible to participate. No registration is required however each class is limited to the first 20 participants. All participants must wear proper fitness attire to participate.

Bike Maintenance 101 Clinic

This introductory clinic will teach you how to properly perform basic bicycle maintenance and tune-ups. There are no prerequisites for this clinic.
