Golf Lessons
Whether you’re a newcomer to the game or looking to perfect your swing, let the experts at the Georgia Southern Golf Course prepare you for success. Staffed by multiple PGA Golf Professionals, the GS Golf Course offers lessons for golfers of all skill levels.
Lessons include 45 minutes of instruction, plus golf club rental if needed. Range balls are complimentary for all range lessons. Payment is due at the Pro Shop at the time of your first lesson.

Justin Brown
Head Golf Professional
Justin joined Georgia Southern University in the summer of 2022, supervising and managing golf operations in support of the Georgia Southern Golf Course.
Justin has maintained his PGA Membership since September of 2019 and specializes in tournament operations, equipment fitting, teaching and growing the game for youth.
He was chosen for the Youth Player Development Award in 2019 and the Golf Professional of the Year in 2020 for the Central Chapter of Georgia PGA. Brown also received the 2023 Georgia PGA South Chapter Teacher and Coach of the Year Award from the Georgia PGA.
In his free time, Justin enjoys playing competitively in Georgia
PGA events and spending time with his wife, Chandler, their son, Arlen and daughter, Noah.
Private Lessons
Our private lessons are one-on-one, 45-minute hands-on instruction with our PGA Golf Professional. Video analysis of your swing is available for an extra fee.
- Adults: $60
- GS Students: $45
- Youth (17 and under): $45
- Video Analysis: $75
Group Lessons
Bring your family or a group of friends for an educational and fun 45-minute group lesson! Group lessons are designed for golfers of all experience levels from beginners to experts. A minimum of three people is required for a group lesson. Maximum group size is six.
- $30 per individual
Playing Lessons
There are some skills that can only be learned on the course. Our PGA instructors will lead you around the GS Golf Course for an individual 9-hole, hands-on, interactive golf lesson that will help elevate your game and take your course management to the next level. Players should bring their own balls and tees, or purchase them in the Pro Shop.

- GS Students: $75
- Youth (17 and under): $75

Lesson Questionnaire
For your convenience we offer two ways to fill out our golf lesson questionnaire. You can either fill out the electronic form embedded below, or you can download and print a paper form and return it to our Pro Shop next time you come out to play a round. We will also have printed copies in our Pro Shop you can pick up and fill out.
