How to Register

Registering a Team

TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Prior to any Intramural Sports participation, a participant MUST create an IMLeagues user account.

1. Go to imleagues.com and click “CREATE ACCOUNT” at top of screen.
2. Select Georgia Southern University (Statesboro) from the list of schools (you do not need to enter additional information). You will be re-directed to your MyGS portal for login.
3. Enter your MyGS username and password.
4. Complete the required information and accept the terms & conditions. Click “COMPLETE.”

TO CREATE A TEAM

1. Login to your IMLeagues.com account (use MyGS username and password).
2. Click Intramural Sports at the top of the screen to see a list of available sports and to view specific registration information about each sport.
3. Click on the selected sport to see available leagues and divisions.
4. Click Register / Signup then select Create Team. Accept the waiver and complete the team information.
5. Submit online payment for entry fee. Payment must be submitted when you create team to complete registration.
6. Invite members to join your team now or at a later time. Click Invite Players to send requests via email.

Joining a Team

TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Prior to any Intramural Sports participation, a participant MUST create an IMLeagues user account AND must be an eligible member of a team’s online roster.

1. Go to imleagues.com and click “CREATE ACCOUNT” at top of screen.
2. Select Georgia Southern University (Statesboro) from the list of schools (you do not need to enter additional information). You will be re-directed to your MyGS portal for login.
3. Enter your MyGS username and password.
4. Complete the required information and accept the terms & conditions. Click “COMPLETE.”

TO JOIN A TEAM (BY PLAYER)

1. Accept an email invitation from the team captain to join a team.
   OR
   Login to your IMLeagues.com account (use MyGS username and password).
2. Enter team name in Search field at top of page to locate desired team OR click Intramural Sports, select the sport and league, then locate the desired team at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Join Team. Enter required information and Submit your request to the team captain.

TO INVITE PLAYERS TO JOIN TEAM (BY TEAM CAPTAIN)

1. From your team page, click Invite Players.
   • If participant already has an IMLeagues account, enter his/her name to search. If participant does not have an IMLeagues account yet, enter his/her email address.
   • You may click View to see participants to invite: My Teams (previous teammates), My Friends, or Free Agents
2. Add any invitation message and click Send Invitations.
3. Participants will receive an e-mail invitation and must accept the invitation to join your team.

TO LEAVE A TEAM (BY PLAYER)

1. From your My Teams page, select the appropriate team. Click on the team name.
2. Click Leave Team. Note that you may NOT be dropped from a team’s roster if you have participated in at least one game.

Free Agency

TO BECOME A FREE AGENT

1. Login to your IMLeagues.com account (use MyGS username and password).
2. Click Intramural Sports at the top of the screen to see a list of available sports.
3. Click on the selected sport to see available leagues and divisions. You may be a free agent for as many leagues/divisions as you’d like. Click on your preferred league(s) or division(s).
4. Click Register / Signup, then select Free Agent.
5. Provide any additional information about yourself and click Post Listing.

TO INVITE FREE AGENTS (BY TEAM CAPTAIN)

1. From your team’s page, select Invite Players. Click View, then Free Agents to see a list of available free agents.
2. Click on the participant to view player information (note contact info – name, email address).
3. Enter the participant’s name or email address to Send Invitation to join the team.
