Homeschool Archery
Are you interested in bringing archery into your Homeschool curriculum? If you are, we have the program for you! We offer 2 classes in this program, one for beginner students and one for more advanced. Once those classes are completed students have the option to continue shooting in our Homeschool League. Details below.
We have highly trained coaches leading these classes and look forward to working with your youth! Contact us for more information, or register for the next session.
Registration
To register for the Homeschool program, you may come in to the Shooting Sports Education Center or call (912) 478-7732.
Deadline to register is 48 hours prior to the session beginning.
- All archers must reserve their spot by paying the full session fee.
- All students must attend the first class in the session to be eligible for that session. Subsequent classes are not mandatory but highly recommended.
- Determination for class participation will be determined by the Archery Coaches, if you have a question about which class your student should participate in, please contact Coach Cassy at 912-478-7732 or via email at cpelton@georgiasouthern.edu.
Homeschool Archery (ages 7-17)
Homeschool Archery is for those students that want to learn the proper way to shoot a bow and arrow as a recreational activity. The program teaches the principles of shooting in a fun, social and interactive environment. No experience is required and this is an 8 week class.

Cost is $65 for the full 8-week session

Homeschool Archery League
If you loved everything about the Homeschool Archery program and want to continue shooting, this is for you! We will shoot various competitive formats from target archery to field and 3D archery. At the end of the 8-week program the overall male and female archer will be awarded a medal! Archers are required to have taken Advanced Homeschool Archery to qualify for this league.

Advanced Homeschool Archery (ages 7-17)
Advanced Homeschool Archery is for those students that have taken the Homeschool Archery class before or have their own equipment and can shoot at 18 meters. This is an 8 week class.

In addition to the archery classes, additional benefits include:
- The lessons are exclusive to homeschoolers since the facility is not yet open to the general public at that time, so minimal distractions.
- Coach Cassandra Pelton is a USA Archery Level 4-NTS Coach with years of archery shooting experience.
- All equipment is provided.
