Beyond the Basics: Learn the mental and physical skills of shooting with this course designed by women, for women.

This course is designed as a sequel to the Women’s Firearms 1 class. Basic firearm safety and handling will be reviewed. Shooters will learn how to fine tune their shooting skills both mentally and physically. As participants work through different techniques and drills they will become more comfortable and experienced with their firearm. Participants will also learn more about concealed carry options and competition opportunities specifically for women. Drills on the range will use two different targets, including a right handed/left handed assistive target and a silhouette target. Women will leave this course as more comfortable and competent shooters.

Firearms of three different calibers will be used in the class; 9mm, .380, and .223 Rifle. Participants will be able to shoot each of these on the range and handle them in the classroom. There will be 20 rounds of 9mm, 20 rounds of .380 and 10 rounds of .223 ammo provided. All participants who become a member the same day will receive a free lane rental.

Participants may bring their own firearm if they wish. Much like the first class, all firearms and ammunition will be included in the price of the class.

*Participants must have a waiver on file
