Benefits

The best way to improve your shooting skills while having fun is to shoot with friends, family, and co-workers. With the introduction of the Bullseye Pistol League, you can expand your circle of ​friends while mastering ​the mental and physical discipline ​and safety skills necessary to compete. All this can be accomplished in your pursuit to teach a youth or your own interest to become a lifelong shooting sports enthusiast.

Competition Rules
  • Must shoot 3 out of 5 events during event times on Thursdays between 6:30 – 8pm
  • You must compete in 4 of 5 rounds to be considered for placement in top 3 ranks
  • Can make up missed competitions during normal operation hours
  • The NRA rules have been modified to accommodate a SSEC friendly shooting league
Pistols
  • .22lr Pistol highly encouraged for league
  • One division of pistols will be recognized: Standard
  • No heavily modified gun (race type gun) will be allowed
Ammunition

Any safe ammunition, either factory or hand loaded is allowed

Range

Firing will be at 50 ft on NRA B-2 for slow fire stages 1-2 & B-3 targets for rapid fire stages 3-10

Safety Procedure Notes

Bring pistols cased and unloaded. Will handle pistols on direction from Range Officer

Course of Fire

7-10 50 feet Standing, with a left or right single-handed grip 5 shots 10 seconds

*Magazine will be loaded with 5 rounds each

Suggested Items
  • 1 Firearm
  • 2 Boxes ammo
  • 3 Magazines
  • Hearing and eye protection
  • Long-sleeve shirts and pants

*Everyone must be present for the safety brief which will take place 15 minutes prior to the timing round

Ammunition
  • Standard commercial and reloaded ammunition is permitted
  • Any type of ammunition designed for penetrating metal is not permitted
  • Only ammunition purchased at the SSEC may be used in a rental firearm
  • No steel jacketed, steel shot, or steel core bullets permitted
  • No tracer, incendiary, armor piercing, gas, or explosive ammunition is permitted
