The University Wellness Program is focused upon enhancing staff, faculty and student wellness. It is a combination of existing, new and collaborative programming that addresses the seven dimensions of wellness (emotional, environmental, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, spiritual).

The mission of the University Wellness Program is to create a culture of wellness that fosters individual and community wellness for Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff.

The Wellness Center

The Wellness Center is the home of The University Wellness Program in addition to the CRI fitness program. The Wellness Center is located on the second floor of the Recreational Activity Center (RAC) in the front right corner of the building. Fitness Assessments services are offered here Monday through Friday.

The Wellness Ambassadors

The Wellness Ambassadors student organization, advised by the University Wellness Director, consists of a group of volunteers that help plan and promote campus wellness programs. They serve as Peer Educators to the campus and coordinate programs like the Health Hut and Worry-Free Wednesday. They meet twice per month and open application for membership at the beginning of each semester. For more information about them and how to become a Wellness Ambassador email
