Blood Drives

In partnership with the American Red Cross, the University Wellness Program hosts a Blood Drive at the RAC each semester. So donate blood through the University Wellness blood drive in order to help save lives!

Health Hut

Ever have those burning health and wellness questions you want to ask? Don’t feel like you have time to come to the Wellness Center at the RAC to ask? Don’t worry, the University Wellness Program is coming to YOU via our Health Hut!


Worry-Free Wednesdays

This program is designed to encourage the students, faculty and staff at Georgia Southern to become involved in the great wellness programs and activities being offered on campus.


Farmers Market Festival

Purchasing fresh, locally raised meat and other products is now easier than ever! Enjoy fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, honey, meat, eggs, ice cream, live music, cooking demos, tastings and more.


Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is an international program that aims to raise awareness and encourage communication about gender relations and sexual violence. Men throughout the campus and local community are invited to walk in red high-heeled shoes to draw attention to the issue.


The Relaxation Station

Simply have a seat, place on your headphones and select one of two android apps, take a break and breathe2relax, loaded on the tablet to get started. Guided meditation and deep breathing have been proven to help with many things.


Be Well. Do Well.

Be Well Do Well events will teach you healthy behaviors and strategies to lead you towards a successful college experience. Look for our fun and interactive programs!

DisAbility Awareness Month

DisAbility Awareness month is a month long program that supports and educates the Georgia Southern community on individuals with disabilities.

LiveWell Fair

Vendors from surrounding communities, along with on-campus organizations will join together to bring students, faculty, and staff an exciting wellness experience and various activities throughout Georgia Southern’s campus.

No Impact Week

The Center for Sustainability & University Wellness Program challenge the Georgia Southern community to reduce their impact on the environment for one week.


Sexual Assault Awareness Week

Sexual Assault Awareness Week is a time to support survivors in our community and come together to break the silence surrounding sexual violence. By uniting together we will stand up and work to end the violence that happens everyday. We all play a role in ending Sexual Assault.


Stomp Out Stigma Week

Stomp Out Stigma week is a week dedicated to decreasing stigma towards mental illness on campus. The goal is to create and encourage discussions among college students around mental health and the mental health resources available to them.

Wellness Week is packed full of fun activities that will help you discover healthy habits and identify resources to help you live a quality life at Georgia Southern University and beyond.


Think Before You Drink

Think Before You Drink, is a week dedicated to promoting responsible drinking behaviors. Let us help you ensure that YOU don’t end up being THAT guy or THAT girl on campus.
