Wellness Week is hosted every year in the Spring, designed to help students improve their personal well-being through learning about the seven dimensions of Wellness. Students will be able to explore their own definition of wellness and learn how to create lifelong health habits. Highlights of the week include Fresh Check Day, the LiveWell Fair, and Digital Detox.


Monday, February 11th

Beach, Please
5 – 8pm, RAC Lobby
Join our beach party to learn how to have a healthy spring break! There will be a lot of fun and swag!

Tuesday, February 12th

Fresh Check Day
10am – 2pm, Russell Union Ballroom
Fresh Check Day is a fair-like event that focuses on improving the mental health of college students. Learn effective coping skills and ways you can play a part in decreasing stigma about mental illness.

Basic Climbing Clinic
7 – 10pm, RAC Climbing Wall
The Basic Climbing Clinic is designed for participants to get a comprehensive introduction to the history of rock climbing, basic climbing moves, and top rope belay technique. This clinic consists of roughly one hour instruction and two hours of practical at our indoor climbing wall. Participants will need to pass a written and practical test to be able to be able to top rope belay at the RAC climbing wall. Belay trainings need to be renewed every semester.

Wednesday, February 13th

LiveWell Fair
10am – 2pm, Russell Union
Check out vendors from the local community, along with on-campus organizations for an exciting wellness experience. During the Live Well Fair, you will be able to take part in various activities such as healthy cooking demonstrations, meditation, health screenings, chair massages, laughing yoga, coloring and more!

Love is in the Air
11am – 2pm, Williams Center MPR

SOLD Series: What they don’t tell you about conflict resolution

Thursday, February 14th
Health Hut
11am – 2pm, Rotunda
Join our wellness ambassadors at our health hut and get some tips and treats for Valentine’s Day!

Partner Yoga
6 – 7:30pm, Mind & Body Studio
Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing, yet challenging, partner yoga session. You’ll learn some new poses that will stretch you and strengthen you – and you’ll enjoy doing it with your friend or significant other.

Valentine’s Day Open High Ropes Course
7 – 10pm, Southern Adventures Challenge Course
Hook up with our Southern Adventures team and experience the thrill of zip-lining through the forest and testing your fear of heights. Guaranteed to be the most exhilarating activity of the night.

Friday, February 15th
